The Lake of Garda is the best choice for those who want to spend a weekend in total relaxation or even a summer holiday made up of multiple stops. What do these two things have in common? The beaches to try: beautiful and yet underrated shores such as those we can find in Peschiera del Garda, one of the most visited towns in this area.
A tour in the center to discover the history of Peschiera, photographs of its monuments and palaces, and then? Definitely a stop at the beach to enjoy the cool waters of Benaco! Let’s see the most popular ones:

Pioppi Beach

This beach is one of the few sandy ones on Lake Garda and is located near the end of the Garibaldi lakeside promenade. There is an area set up as a free beach and other spaces, instead, where you can rent umbrellas and sunbeds. The beach is not only sandy but there is also a part in gravel and another that extends over large grassy areas. From here, essentially, the cycle-pedestrian paths that lead to the villages overlooking the Venetian shore begin.
Cappuccini Beach

The Cappuccini beach is perhaps one of the most famous in all of Peschiera del Garda because it meets everyone’s needs. It is a free gravel beach but with some perfect grassy areas to relax in. In addition, near these areas, there is a small playground where children can have fun, becoming a perfect option for families or parents who want to offer their little ones a 360° fun experience. Also in this beach, like all those in Peschiera, there is the possibility to rent umbrellas and sunbeds, as well as being served by bars and restaurants not far away.
Bergamini Beach

The Bergamini beach is made up of small white and gray stones, typical of almost all the beaches on Lake Garda. At this beach, you can rent umbrellas and sunbeds, as well as pedal boats and canoes.
Bracco Baldo Beach (Bau Beach)

For those who don’t want to separate from their four-legged friends, just know that in Peschiera del Garda there is a beach made especially for them: the Bracco Baldo Beach! Everything in this beach has been designed to make dogs happy with areas dedicated to “treats” (as I like to call them), choosing between a free beach and, again, renting sunbeds with umbrella that entitle you to a special welcome kit: bowl, bags and everything needed to make your adventure companion feel at his best. Is there anything better on the lake? Let me know because I haven’t found it!
